Dead To Me - Gary KitchingMe and Mr C.

performed by Gary Kitching, directed by Alex Swift

He sits inside your head and watches

He sees all you see, knows all you know, hears all you hear and sometimes, if you are very unlucky, he tells you what he thinks of it all.

Gary Kitching is an improviser, actor and comedian and Me and Mr. C is his funny touching, disturbing rendering of what it is like to have a voice in your head that explains to you with authority, purpose and well referenced arguments, that you are a worthless piece of shit. An experience you may be able to sympathise with.

Blah blah blah PSYCHICS blah blah blah MUST BE REAL blah blah blah HOW COULD THEY KNOW THAT? blah blah blah TALKING TO THE DEAD blah blah IT’S JUST BOLLOCKS blah blah.

Sometimes we only hear what we want to hear.

Dead To Me is a disturbingly funny story about a man and his troubled relationship with a psychic and her spirit guide.
When the truth is confronted, an irreversible chain of events is set in motion and Steven finds out that living people can be unnecessarily cruel.

The dead are easier to deal with.

Directed by Selma Dimitrijevic
Design by Oliver Townsend
Lighting Design by Ian Scott
Cast: Tessa Parr and Gary Kitching
Associate Director: Bella Loudon

“Very funny for all the wrong reasons.”
Whats On Stage on “Me and Mr C” by Gary Kitching

“Dark and painfully funny, the question you need to ask yourself is just how far you’ll let him self-destruct? “
